Press Release – 5 May 2018 | On behalf of the Hong Kong Baseball Association (HKBA), the Organizing Committee of the XII BFA East Asia Baseball Cup 2018 (East Asia Cup) is delighted to announce Centum Charitas Foundation as the Title Sponsor of the East Asia Cup. Centum Charitas Foundation is a non-governmental organization, devoted to the development of youth in Hong Kong, to foster outstanding young generation. It also carries out various charity events from time to time to promote the spirit of charity and encourage the youth to work hard to equip themselves to meet the challenges and create a meaningful life!
“As an organization who consistently provides Hong Kong People with quality training and high standard baseball activities and as a leading sports association in the local and international arenas,” said Andrew Fan, Chairperson of the Organizing Committee of the XII BFA East Asia Baseball Cup 2018. “We are thrilled to have Centum Charitas Foundation comes aboard as our Title Sponsor. They are a natural fit for our mission, recognize the importance of providing better support for staging a world known international sports event to the local community.”
The Baseball Federation of Asia (BFA), a continental federation of World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), together with the Hong Kong Baseball Association will host the five-nation Baseball Asia Cup from 24-28 June in Hong Kong, the top two nations to qualify for the 29th Asian Championship (Qualifier to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics).
